🧹 Full Review — Why the Kelamayi Upgrade Broom & Dustpan Set Stands Out
✅ 1. No More Bending — 54″ Long Handle Saves Your Back
The Kelamayi Upgrade Broom and Dustpan Set features a generous 54-inch long handle so you can sweep comfortably without hunching over — perfect for anyone with back pain, arthritis, or tall household members. The handle is made from sturdy stainless steel, feels solid in hand, and stays securely locked at your preferred height. Verified buyers repeatedly mention: “Finally a broom that doesn’t make me bend over!” and “Tall enough for my 6’2″ husband — what a relief!” Cleaning becomes easier and faster when you don’t have to fight your tools.
✅ 2. Self-Cleaning Comb Teeth — No More Fingers in Dirt!
The built-in rubber comb teeth on the dustpan edge are the game-changer. Simply run the broom bristles through the teeth and all hair, dust, and debris slides right off — no picking by hand, no pulling, no mess. It works perfectly for pet hair, human hair, and fine dust that clumps in bristles. One reviewer put it simply: “The self-cleaning feature alone is worth the price — I’ll never buy another set without it!” It’s the small design detail that makes daily cleaning so much less frustrating.
✅ 3. Upright & Self-Standing — Stows Away in Seconds
Both the broom and dustpan clip together and stand on their own — no leaning against walls, no falling over, no extra storage hooks needed. Tuck them in a corner, pantry, or closet and they take up barely any space. The sleek, modern design even looks tidy enough to leave visible. Buyers love how “it always stays neat and ready to grab.” Perfect for apartments, small kitchens, or anyone who hates clutter.
✅ 4. Large Capacity & Flexible Lip — Nothing Spills
The dustpan has a wide 13-inch rubber lip that lies completely flat against the floor — so fine dust and crumbs don’t slide underneath. The generous size means fewer trips to the trash, and the deep pan holds plenty without spilling. The broom head is 11 inches wide too — covering more ground faster with every sweep. Soft, split-tip bristles are tough on dirt but gentle on hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl — won’t scratch or leave streaks.
✅ 5. 51K+ Reviews & Amazon’s Choice — Millions Trust It
With over 51,000 verified purchases and an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, the Kelamayi Upgrade Broom and Dustpan Set is genuinely loved by people everywhere. It earned the Amazon’s Choice badge and consistently ranks as a Top Best Seller in Household Dustpans — with 20,000+ units sold in a single month. At around $26, it’s not the cheapest set on the market, but it’s widely considered the best value — built to last, designed smartly, and backed by tens of thousands of happy buyers.
⚠️ Things to Know Before Buying
- 📏 Height note: Handle is 54″ — great for most adults; if you’re under 5’2″, it may feel tall but it’s adjustable
- 🧹 Bristles are soft — excellent for indoor floors; for heavy outdoor debris (gravel, wet leaves), a stiffer outdoor broom works better
- 🔩 Assembly required — minimal screwing together of handle sections; tools included, takes ~2 minutes
- 🎨 Green is most popular — but Black and Brown options are available to match your home decor

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How tall is the handle? Can I adjust it?
A: The handle is approximately 54 inches at full height. It telescopes and locks — you can shorten it if needed, but it doesn’t go extremely short. Perfect for most adults 5’0″ to 6’5″.
Q: Does the dustpan lip stay flat on all floor types?
A: Yes! The flexible rubber edge conforms to hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, and even slightly uneven floors. It creates a tight seal so fine dust doesn’t sweep underneath.
Q: Are replacement parts available?
A: Yes — Kelamayi sells replacement broom heads and dustpans separately, so you don’t need to buy a whole new set when one part wears out. Great for long-term value!
Q: How do I store it?
A: The broom clicks into the dustpan handle and they stand upright together — no mounting needed. You can also hang them by the built-in loop if you prefer.
Q: Is it easy to assemble?
A: Very! Screw the handle sections together, attach the broom head and dustpan — done in under 2 minutes. No tools required.
